Trading Tools & Calculators

The same risk-first calculators we teach inside the course — pre-loaded with Indian market defaults (Nifty lot 65, Sensex lot 20) and the 1% risk rule. Plan before you trade.

Educational calculators only. These tools compute results from the numbers you enter to help you plan and learn. They are not investment advice, recommendations, or tips. Trading Edge Academy is not a SEBI-registered investment adviser or research analyst. Trading carries financial risk; please verify all figures with your broker before acting.
TOOL 01

Position Size Calculator

The single most important calculation in trading. Enter your capital, the % you're willing to risk, and your stop-loss distance — get the exact number of lots that keeps you within your 1% rule.

Switch between Nifty, Sensex and BTC perpetuals

TOOL 02

Risk : Reward Calculator

Before every entry, check whether the trade is even worth taking. A setup below 1:1.5 usually isn't. This shows your ratio instantly and flags weak trades.

Rule of thumb: aim for 1:2 or better. A 1:2 setup is profitable even at a 40% win rate.
TOOL 03

Options P&L Calculator

Buying a Nifty or Sensex option? See your profit, loss and breakeven across lots before you click buy. Works for both call and put buying on premium movement.

P&L = (Exit premium − Entry premium) × Lot size × Number of lots. Enter your premiums below.

TOOL 04

Brokerage & Fees Calculator

Costs quietly eat returns. Switch between Nifty/Sensex options (brokerage, STT, exchange, GST, stamp) and BTC perpetuals (maker/taker fees, funding, USDT→INR) to see your real net P&L.

Options: typical discount-broker flat ₹20/order + current charge structure (verify with Zerodha / Dhan). BTC: default 0.05% taker / 0.02% maker per side (verify with Delta / Binance). All figures are estimates.

Tools are easy. Discipline is the hard part.
